Annual Appeal

Over the last two years, the Annual Appeal Campaign has helped our organization continue providing critical support to our community and our members. These gifts allow us to address urgent needs and leverage the impact of every dollar our organization raises to support our mission and focus area. Additional support from members like you is more important than ever as we continue reenergizing our events and programs impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. While we were able to bring back most of our signature programs this year, we know that the community we support has constantly changing needs. Your gift is extremely important because it allows JLLV to respond to the immediate needs in our community. Your gift of $25, $100, $500 or more can help us to not only make a stronger impact in our community, but it also supports the ongoing training and development of our membership. As you know, the more our membership learns and grows, the more we can do for the community we serve.

Holiday Bear Project

The “Adopt-A-Bear” (now Holiday Bear) Project was created in 1987 because the members of JLLV believed that no child should go without the wonder and magic of receiving gifts on Christmas morning. Now, more than ever, the Las Vegas community is in need of help over the holiday season. JLLV selects three at-risk schools to partner with through the Clark County School District, and school administrators identify which students are the most in need of a little Christmas magic. Then our volunteers go to the schools and personally interview and measure hundreds of Las Vegas children. Each child then becomes a “bear” who is “adopted” for the holiday season. Each child receives ten wrapped gifts of new items from Santa, including a pair of pants, a shirt, a jacket or sweatshirt, a pair of shoes, 6 pairs each of underwear and socks, pajamas, two toys, and an age-appropriate book.

Endowment Fund

The Endowment Fund was created to protect the sustainability of the Junior League of Las Vegas and ensure it continues to build better communities and develop the potential of women.
